Jeff Galbraith has been an independent consultant since 1997. His dissertation, "Telling Stories in More Complex Ways," profiles a process he developed to expand people's storytelling capacities by appealing to their adaptive unconscious.  He has used this and similar psychologically based processes to counsel individuals and small groups. In his current practice, he works exclusively with creative professionals and the adaptive unconscious side of their practices. 

From 2001 to the present, he has also worked with Ideation, a global consulting firm based in San Francisco. In that capacity he has counseled people in North America, Europe, and Asia. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a Ph.D. degree in educationl psychology. He was born in Brooklyn, grew up in upstate New York, and now lives in Charlottesville, Virginia.
